Join this Australian EPC who specialises in providing project engineering and construction services for utility infrastructure projects across Australia. Having a long term presence in the industry, a national presence and a loyal client base across Australia, they have extensive experience in delivering turnkey solutions to a wide range of both major and minor infrastructure projects in the power and energy sector.

This new role is a result of growth from major project wins in a growing industry.

Working closely with Project Managers, the Site Manager is responsible for the successful completion and delivery of project work on site, managing onsite workers, personnel and contractors, and the day-to-day aspects of onsite construction. This position is part of the Construction & Projects Team. The incumbent will work with their Manager and Project Team(s) to provide excellence in engineering / construction, ensure a safe workplace, a positive working environment, and a high level of staff morale.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • High Voltage Electrical Trade Qualifications
  • Experience in Windfarm/Renewables Projects (highly desirable)
  • Experience managing HV construction projects. Site supervision of projects in excess $1m
  • Degree level qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Project Management (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Civil Engineering/Construction principles
  • General knowledge of the HV infrastructure industry, including design, procurement, civil construction principles and commissioning
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Safety Supervision and WHSE
  • Major construction projects achievements
  • Strong client focus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Technical documentation writing skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A consultative background with excellent communication skills
