    About the company

    It's very much an exciting time for Commercial and Industrial builders in Sydney, with a surplus of interesting mixed projects in Government (GC21, major Retail Outlets, Storage Facilities, New offices and Warehouses, Health Care and Aged Care.). This solid builder in other states and has consistently been praised for their operations, safety and delivery and as a result have a string of Industrial & Commercial projects in Western Sydney including storage facilities, warehouse construction with commercial offices and Medical construction “New Build and Fit Out”.

    They are recognised in QLD and VIC for their consistent delivery, positive approach, and high staff retention level. People want to work for them, reputable, established, financially buoyant with a full order book into 2024. The key to their success is their motivated staff and therefore they are very selective with whom they employ and invest in.

    About the role:

    As one of their Site Managers you will be expected to take full ownership of the project supervising site activities and delegating as necessary. Ideally you will have an all-round capability, understanding structural elements, carpentry / joinery / fit out elements of a New build Industrial and Commercial projects up to $20 million, and ideally have a seasoned portfolio working on similar build projects over in the Local Sydney arena.


    About the Projects:

    They are very well known for building exceptional projects "Tilt up’s, structural steel for Manufacturing outlets, Warehouse, Storage facilities and GC21 projects.

    Duties:

    • Preparing programmes
    • Adherence to BCA standards
    • Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
    • Daily and Monthly reporting
    • OH&S
    • Subcontractor site Inductions
    • Client Care
    • Managing onsite issues
    • Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.

    Skills and Experience

    • You will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience working on similar projects for an Australian recognised business, unfortunately this is compulsory for the role.
    • Trade Qualified in Carpentry and Joinery or Brick Laying.
    • You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
    • Confident and looking to exceed in all facets of your work. Delivering on time and on Budget.
    • Exceptional Communication skills
    • A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
    • Good management approach.
