Your new Company

My client is Australia's leading developer builder and is well known for constructing iconic high-rise projects across the East Coast. After having been in operation for over 50 years, this builder is set on bringing the best of the best on board to complete their project to the highest standard.

Your new Role

Reporting to the engineering team based interstate, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the structural aspects of the build.

Skills and Experience

Your responsiblities in this role will include the following:

  • Experience in post-tension concrete is essential (please highlight in CV)
  • Responsible for the development of project management programs and schedules.
  • Reviewing drawings, generate and follow up with RFI’s and ITP’s from clients and sub-contractors.
  • Provide and distribute reports as per agreed time frames for project summary & overview.
  • Supervising and managing sub-contractors on site in accordance to scope of works.
  • Conducting QA/QC inspections during concrete pours to relevant commercial and industrial clients throughout Australia.
  • On-site supervision during casting of concrete slabs ensuring correct design procedure and methodology are adhered to in accordance with the Australian building Code, project specifications and UK TR34 guide.
  • Report on weekly and monthly business KPI’s.
  • Procurement of services, equipment and materials.
  • On-site supervision and management of civil contractors performing civil works, bulk earthworks, concrete construction, land filling and excavation.
  • Work in accordance with the organisation core values to demonstrate active involvement and leadership regarding safety, client and financial accountabilities.
  • Peer review of warehouse concrete slabs designs, geotechnical analysis, warehouse racking proposal and structural and architectural drawings ensuring clients project requirements are met and conforms with Australian standards.
  • Conduction various floor tests, level and flatness surveys specific to project requirements on finish floors using state of the art proprietary surveying equipment in addiction to survey data analysis and reporting preparation.
