Shift Electrician – Industrial

  • Western Sydney location
  • Permanent opportunity
  • Rotating shift work with 4 day's off

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer the Shift Electrical will be responsible for electrical maintenance and breakdown support for all equipment and machinery in the manufacturing plant. This will include working with electrical and electronic components related to power reticulation, instrumentation, control systems, SCADA systems, and circuits. This role is to ensure these items function at a level that supports the operational teams requirement for safe, reliable factory processing equipment.

Some of your day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring the safety compliance of all maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring the long term reliability of all electrical equipment and control systems
  • Assisting with the day to day electrical equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot and fault find electrical equipment issues onsite to provide short machinery downtime

To be considered for this opportunity your profile will need to possess the following attributes:

  • Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
  • NSW Electrical Supervisory or Contractors License
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing plant machinery
  • Working in Allen Bradley PLC / Scada would be highly regarded
