Working for a Digital Consulting organisation on a digital transformation program, this role is a great opportunity to work across a digital transformation program of work within a State Government Authority.

This role is an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Role Summary

The Microsoft SharePoint Developer/Support Administrator position will focus primarily on needs analysis, design, build and go-live in addition to providing service support for the release of a Mobile Application across a broad range of users.

The candidate will need to have experience and be competent working across multiple mid to large scale projects in a somewhat methodologically ambiguous environment.

The primary focus for this role is deploying and supporting the Sharepoint mobile application, which may then stem into more development & automation work.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Provides first and second-level support and assists with driving third level support. Troubleshoots and manages resolution of operational problems for assigned software or hardware technologies.
  2. Builds understanding of communications and collaboration technologies within the organisation.
  3. Shares knowledge and assists team members and other peers who are less experienced or knowledgeable in a specific technology.
  4. Leads and direct others in the overall administration of a specialized platform or technology.
  5. Performs installation, configuration, and maintenance of technologies, software and solutions following established procedures and change control standards.

Specialised Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  1. Knowledge and understanding of software development languages and tools to integrate communication and collaboration technologies with other applications and business systems.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure technologies such as database, network, security, server, storage, and workstations.
  3. Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining systems.
  4. Solid knowledge and understanding of one or more communication and collaboration technologies

Relevant Information:

  • The SharePoint Developer/Support Administrator is a contract position for ~6 months during which time the landscape for IT will be matured.
  • Pre-employment Police Records and Qualification Verification Checks will be required, which includes a 100-point Proof of Identity Check.
