job description

Global player in their respective industry is undertaking a shift to a services driven IT support delivery model. Level 1 & Level 2 IT Support services, hosted in a vendor partnership this Service Delivery Manager (Managed Workforce Service Manager) will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Be the liaison between business stakeholders and service provider providing point of escalation
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand the standard of work and services being undertaken by the provider
  • Manage vendor services to confirm continual delivery to meet agreed performance standards / SLA's
  • Hold services provided accountable for their contracted deliverables and outcomes

Experience

  • Experience with the service delivery of an external vendor is key
  • Have solid technical understanding (of Service Delivery in Level 1 & Level 2 support) to be able to effectively manage the vendor to deliver services
  • Strong vendor and senior stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Proven infrastructure service management experience in a complex enterprise organisation
  • Experience managing distributed team is an advantage
