Your new company:

Your new company is a leader in the design, funding and construction of major projects and infrastructure assets across diverse industries. Your new team are like minded individuals and your new manager is looking for a Service Administrator who will hit the ground running.

Your new role:

A typical day in your new role will involve the allocation of work to subcontractors whilst providing support to field staff. You will be building rapport with key internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to assist in achieving continuous improvement and enhancing the efficient operations on site. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure allocation of jobs in the work management system is actioned as directed by the project engineers in a timely manner
  • Audit the quality of information in the work management system to determine if jobs were closed to standard
  • Input and Maintain information in the database of record in a timely and accurate manner
  • Act as a contact point for field resources, answering basic support queries and resetting system passwords
  • Perform general administrative tasks in the system such as updating contractor details
  • Record activities via timesheet and/or other effort tracking as required by the project
  • Provide excellent customer service to project stakeholders
  • Other related activities as required by the manager

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently both in writing and verbally
  • Quick uptake of the basic functions of line of business applications like work order management systems
  • Experience in the telecommunications or utility industries a plus
