We are recruiting an exciting temp/contract opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant with a leading engineering company in North Sydney. This is a perfect role for someone who is immediately available and looking to expand their skills.
Role:
... - Assist the Tax Manager with any transactions, queries and projects
- Undertaking and completing other taxation compliance (direct/ indirect tax) work as required.
- Complete general ledger reviews and reconciliations
- Prepare Income tax (Consolidation), FBT, and BAS returns
- Be a key point of contact for all tax-related queries across the wider business
About You:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a corporate taxation role, preferably a large commercial organization
- Sound knowledge in income tax, GST, and FBT return preparation
- Experience in undertaking tax compliance work (direct/indirect tax)
- Experience using SAP and Excel is desirable
- Strong communication skills - be able to communicate professionally at all levels within the team
- Great for someone on a Working Holiday Visa looking for local experience
