The SOC Team is being built to assist the organisation’s mother company with prevention, monitoring and actively resolving security incidents. We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst with a passion for IT security and experience in blue and purple teamwork. A person who wishes to create, improve and develop the businesses group-wide security. Key Responsibilities Perform threat, vulnerability and risk analysis. Provide IT security assistance to local IT departments.Establish IT security requirements to maintain company IT security to an acceptable level.Set up processes and designing/automating workflows in regards to logs and incidents.Initiate group-wide IT initiatives, such as global security software product implementation and standardization.Support and educate our IT managers and group leaders on security initiatives. Essential RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in information technology, Information Systems or equivalent.CEH, CompTIA Security or CISA certifications are a plus.Several years of on-the-job IT experience with at least 4 years of experience in the IT security field.Blue and purple security work in a SOC, green work is a plus.Previous experience with SIEM and SOAR solutions.Extensive knowledge of Next Gen solutions such as IPS/IDS and AV EDR.Multi OS knowledge.Knowledge and experience in network analysis, a plus is knowledge of code analysis and ethical hacking.Thorough, organized, structured and security aware.Able to demonstrate critical and logical thinking.Must be a team player and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to teach and educate IT staff of security measures and initiatives.A passion for IT security and desire to research and continually educate oneself on upcoming security trends and threats.
