Randstad Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Security Advisor for a key client of ours, a leading technology business in Melbourne. This company considers security to be a competitive advantage for them and is investing heavily in ramping up their team and a number of initiatives/projects.

The Senior Security Advisor is responsible for the smooth running of the company security infrastructure, associated services and security projects, whilst ensuring IT security procedures are implemented and followed as laid out by the IT Security team.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Leading the scoping and execution of IT Security projects, in particular, the scheduling, management and reporting of IT Tools and Services enablement and IT Operations
• Helping shape security requirements when Development is building a new product
• Providing security expertise to support company Networks including Cisco switching/routing, Cisco VoIP, Imperva and Encapsula, Checkpoint Firewalls, VPN
• Liaising with third party support providers to resolve support issues
• Assisting in the planning, development and deployment of technology and business process solutions

Desired experience and skills

• Hands on experience with management of IT Security Operations and development of team capabilities
• High level of experience with Security & Networking technologies
• Experience with password management software, web application firewalls and encryption products
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCIE, CHFI, CEH, SANS GICSP
• IT Security incident response
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, IRAP, PCI-DSS and other associated standards
