This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Rail Safety Manager to join a client side organisation in the construction and delivery of a multi-billion dollar rail program that will significantly improve Sydney's public transport system.

As a Senior rail safety manager you will be responsible for leading the development of safety systems, guidelines and governance frameworks that will be used by both client side staff and contractors in the delivery of various work packages. You will also need to ensure that safety management plans comply to the current relevant standards as well as chair potential safety training workshops.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to work autonomously yet be able to take direction of the Director for program safety, which you will be directly reporting to. You will also need to be accountable for accuracy of safety advice provided and have exceptional communication skills as you will be required to engage both in house delivery, design teams as well as contractors in delivering the safest outcomes for the program(s) of work.

This initial 12 month contract will be paying in the vicinity of $1100 per day + super for the right person and will require a start in mid-late may 2019.
