job description

As a private health provider in the Northern Territory, our client boasts an excellent range of medical and surgical services for the community. You would be joining a team of 5 other professionals to provide care for inpatient and outpatient rehab programs for adults.


Skills and Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated commitment to consumer-focused care and evidence based clinical practice
  • Ability to contribute to program evaluation, quality improvement activities, and research in the mental health field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (Victoria) and other relevant legislation.
  • Development, facilitation and evaluation of clinical programs.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team, providing teaching, coaching and mentoring

The Role:

  • Provide specialist assessments in a timely manner
  • Provide evidence based individual and group interventions
  • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of client management plans and overall programs.
  • Liaise with families, the community and other service providers as appropriate.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and programs as appropriate.
  • Maintain appropriate records and statistics in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and standards.
  • Engage in professional development activities.
  • Commitment to consumer-focused care and evidence based clinical practices
  • Actively participate in relevant quality improvement activities that meet the requirements of the ACHS Evaluation and Quality improvement Program (EquIP).
  • Support and participate in the organisations commitment to quality improvement and achievement of accreditation
