Global Leaders Chubb Fire and Security Australia manage some of Australia’s largest Security projects, particularly those situated in the ACT. As the business continues to prosper the team is expanding. Specifically we are interested in discussing this opportunity with experienced Project Administrators.

Your ability to develop and nurture exceptional professional internal and external relationships is key to ensuring we exceed client expectations by delivering projects on schedule and within the agreed budget. Operating with a high degree of independence in a busy environment, you will establish administrative systems which supports a variety of projects. The Project Administrator will take ownership of the administrative functions providing high quality administrative and organisational support across the security business.

To be considered in application candidates must offer comprehensive Project experience. Previous work experiences that prove capability across time management, prioritisation, organisation, attention to detail and working to deadlines are critical in application.

Project Administrators key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and Implementation of projects
  • Communication and stakeholder management of key issues
  • Proficiency across all Microsoft user applications – eg Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project * AutoCAD lite.
  • Intranet site development and maintenance
  • The creation and or co-ordination of project created information, Diligent creation and maintenance of Project job files/documents
  • Intermediate accounting skills Ap, AR, Order management, invoicing and logistics management
  • Coordinate project accuracy, investigating discrepancies and variations
  • Preparation of client monthly progress claims.
  • Preparation of work permits and disruption notices.
  • Act as the key communication contact point for technicians, project managers and others in regards to administrative information relating to the running of the Installation Department projects.
  • Manage archival of project and contract correspondence.
  • Work closely and collaboratively as a team player

Those with Current Security and Defence Licences and Passes and an in depth knowledge of Defence and Government industry processes and procedures will be highly regarded.
