*12 Month Contract + Extension Opportunities

*$45-$52ph + Super

Randstad is a preferred supplied to the Federal Government across Australia.

We have multiple very exciting contract positions available in WA for experiences Senior Project Officers.

As a Senior Project Officer you will be accountable for organising your own workflow and for making decisions in relation to your work area and team plans to support program, project and team outcomes.

You will be responsible for assisting to draft substantial policy, project and communication material in the form of briefs for the Board, Steering Committee and the Executive Leadership Committee during an exciting growth period for this Federal Government Agency.

Your role would involve being accountable, under limited direction, for delivering results in accordance with the
requirements of the work area and team plans.


Duties of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Providing advice and support on established technical, operational, professional and/or administrative
    activities
  • Understanding and helping to implement the strategic objectives of the project
  • Being accountable for understanding, analysing and interpreting legislation, policies, strategies and
    project plans.
  • Consulting and sharing information with the team and maximise team strengths to achieve program,
    project and business outcomes.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • An inquiring mind and attention to detail.
  • Positive contemporary attitudes to people with disability
  • Takes personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing projects.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills,
    including the ability to communicate in a confidential and sensitive manner and excellent
    stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
