Our Client a State government harm prevention organisation is seeking a qualified grants manager to lead and co-ordinate several cutting edge preventative grants intiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and deliver major prevention initiatives that prevent and reduce gambling related harm. This will include: the prevention partnership programs, other smaller grants programs and strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee an evaluation framework regarding Foundation’s suite of prevention programs and initaitives,
  • working closely with an evaluation partner and funded organisations to demonstate program perforamnce and impact.
  • Identify and resolve emerging issues, risks and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business
  • priorities and operational program imperatives.
  • Pro-actively build and maintain successful relationships with diverse stakeholders to broker shared solutions and to foster a prevention sector.
  • Work collaboratively across the Foundation to implement and share key learnings from the Program to inform the Foundation’s operations and initiatives and build the evidence around gambling harm prevention.
  • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative program options and solutions to complex issues to senior management and key stakeholders on prevention initiatives and programs
  • Prepare and present detailed and comprehensive reports, board papers, and briefings.
  • Mentor and provide advice and guidance to staff members within the Prevention and Programs branch in regards to harm prevention, that builds knowledge, skill and capacity. This could also include supervising and
