From their humble beginnings, they have been successful in the industry and are now seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Officer reporting to the Accounts Payable manager to join their team! This is a maternity cover role which is an IMMEDIATE START till MARCH 2022.About the Opportunity: The role involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation. Also, to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. The role operates the creditors and purchasing systems and acts as a reference point for internal and external customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:Process vendor invoices accurately and timelyPerform weekly pay cycle for AU and NZCheck compliance of invoice approvals against delegation of authorityVerify that transactions comply with financial policies and proceduresPerform Foreign Currency manual payments and maintain updated vendor recordsPerform EFT payments and deposit chequesMaintain and follow up invoices for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) banking & contact detailsRespond to invoice enquiries from staff and creditorsProcess month end journals and accrual journals as well as maintaining general ledger EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/IDEAL PROFILE:This opportunity is a maternity cover role ONLY who is Immediately Available.
