Due to their current Senior Payroll Officer of 7 years transferring into a new role within the business they are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join their stable team on a permanent and full-time basis.
You will be joining a team that boasts great tenures including the Payroll Manager (10+ years with the business) alongside two Payroll Officers one of whom was an internal transfer from a different department and the other is a returning employee to the business.

About the role:
Reporting into the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for assisting with payroll higher duties, supporting the team and end-to-end weekly and fortnightly processing. Your duties will include:
- Processing PAYG, payroll deductions, entitlements, superannuation, etc.
- Checking timesheets have been completed correctly
- Reconciling payroll runs and reporting on results
- Employee file maintenance
- Supporting the Payroll Manager with mentoring the team
- Providing a high level of customer service while assisting employees with their queries
About you:
You are an experienced Senior Payroll Officer with a high level of attention to detail. In addition, you have:
- 5+ years of payroll experience (full end-to-end)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
