Our clients are on the look out for a full time HR Analyst.


Description
The City requires a full time Payroll Analyst to start ASAP for 3 months with possible extension. The position is located in the northern suburbs and will be based in their HR department at the City’s main administration building. A well sought after employer, they offer their employees a great working environment.

The main objectives of the role is to identify, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes or requests to business processes, reporting and information system needs:

  • Undertake analysis of workforce information through the mining of data, internal research to support the workforce planning process
  • Preparing data driven recommendations and advice that will interface with workforce planning initiative and lead to improved people management practices
  • Up skilling the HR team and broader business to use the data and tools on offer
  • Reporting on metrics and trends and prepare ad-hoc reports and monthly reports as necessary
  • Design data queries and perform analysis to identify workforce issues
  • Assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement programs in human resource management
  • Conduct research and analysis on specific strategic issues relating to human resource management

Profile
As an ideal applicant, you will have;

  • Extensive Payroll experience at senior level
  • Excellent business analysis skills and knowledge of relevant business systems analysis methodologies, business process re-engineering and relevant tools and techniques
  • Ability to grasp and understand new technology concepts and translate them into opportunities for business improvements
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems including Talent2, Alesco/Ascender experience
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Strong report writing and business tools experience e.g. SQL, Discoverer etc
  • Current National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
