Responsibilities:
- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and making recommendations for matters relating to
complex privacy issues.
- Providing critical advice on privacy compliance aspects with the aim to have a compliant path
forward to lead in data analytics.
- Ensuring the relevant Business Area views them as a contributor to the Business Area rather than
a hindrance.
- Providing governance around privacy incident management. This will require managing
multiple issues, including complex and high risk issues, and ensuring that they are contained,
prevention recommendations met, incident register kept accurate and incidents managed in
accordance with the legal requirements of the data breach notification laws.
- Identifying systemic privacy risks and guiding the Business Units to implement processes to
minimise these risks.
- Help guide the relevant business units in implementing changes as a consequence of new
legislation.
- Working with the business leads in each division to appropriately identify privacy risks and
implement appropriate mitigating controls and initiatives and help develop.
