job description

We are working with a global bank with a compliance culture on a senior manager role focussing on TCF (Treating Customers Fairly), breach reporting, Code of Banking, liaising with the ombudsman and AFCA as well as monitoring regulatory change relating to recommendations around the royal commission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of the TCF framework and provide oversight from a compliance perspective on the complaints framework/procedures (not handling the actual complaints)
  • Liaise with the Australian Banking Association (ABA) monitoring changes in the Code of Banking and reporting breaches to the relevant committees
  • Liaise with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
  • Monitor regulatory changes relating to TCF, Complaints, the Australian Royal Commission recommendations.


Experience/skills required

  • Min 4 years proven experience gained in Compliance within Banking/Lending/A regulator is essential
  • Strong relational skills with senior internal stakeholders
  • Hands on approach, pragmatic and able to work with the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
