job description

Our client, a leading asset manager, is looking for an experienced Investment analyst to join their experienced team, where you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and making cashflow decisions for the investment assets (‘Funds’).
  • Monitoring the Funds asset exposure to ensure adherence with investment strategy and rebalancing philosophy.
  • Monitoring the Fund’s currency exposure and adjust as necessary.
  • implementing investment strategy changes without error, which requires:planning, assessment of implementation alternatives, modelling of investment decisions required to implement changes,
  • executing the changes and managing downstream impacts.
  • driving project based assignments and research as required.
  • delivering on investment product, system and process initiatives.
  • delivering required reporting.

To be sucessful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated results and competency in a similar role,
  • Greater than 5 years of professional experience in a numerical discipline,
  • Advanced excel skills,
  • Have a high level of analytical skills,
  • Ability to work with complexity and under pressure,
  • Ability to manage self and stakeholders,
  • Solid understanding of the investment business,
  • Demonstrate authority and influence.
