    A leader in the utilities industry, this organisation has a foothold in one of the largest construction and maintenance programs in Australia. Working in partnership with a number of contractors there is now an opportunity to join the team as a NSW HSEQ Advisor/Manager. They strive to deliver a safe and compliant service and always put all levels of stakeholders first.     ABOUT THE POSITION

    Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will champion health, safety, environment and wellbeing for the business with a human centered approach. Managing the HSEQ function in NSW, you will be instrumental in guiding and leading the operational managers and supervisors across the state. An interesting and fast paced role there is as needed travel required within NSW. This is a leadership role where you will influence a strong culture driving the implementation of an efficient safety and wellbeing program. You will provide proactive coaching across the business and ensure legislative requirements are being adhered to. There is the opportunity to manage the management systems across HSEQ as well and become the primary lead for HSEQ in the business.

    Safety & Wellbeing Manager

    • Proven history in health and safety with experience in utilities such as gas, water and civil construction
    • Strong communication and engagement skills across all levels of a business
    • Evidence of initiatives and programs implemented
    • Passionate about safety, a who leader enjoys coaching and mentoring
    • Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal
    • Management or risk/hazards, audits and investigations
    • Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
    • Tertiary Qualifications in Work, Health & Safety
    • Experience working on bid’s and tenders
    • Competent to run detailed ICAM investigations
    • Environmental compliance experience
