About the Opportunity

Are you a Senior HR/Recruitment Advisor with experience writing job descriptions? Would you like to take the next step in your career and utilise your strong writing and stakeholder management skills? Then this is the role for you!

I am representing an organisation within the NSW Government space that are offering an opportunity within their respective Corporate Services Division, with this particular role located in CBD, great money, and a focus on writing role descriptions with the possibility of 6 months of contract work available (until the completion of the project).

About the role

You will be someone who is comfortable working with multiple sites and multiple workforce backgrounds, responsible for writing job descriptions across a number of functions. You will revise/develop bulk role descriptions at different levels (up to 70 role descriptions across 12 levels).

You will be working alongside Executive Directors and Directors review and update existing role descriptions across the board or develop from scratch new role descriptions to align with the newly developed organisation structure.


About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role (HR Consultant, Recruitment Advisor, Capabilities Advisor etc)
  • Previous NSW public sector experience in HR or similar role requiring exposure and hands on experience in organisational design and government policy/processes
  • Advanced writing skills
  • Ability to prepare, analyse, implement and coordinate management/incident reporting
  • Experience working with a complex organisation or State Gov’t highly regarded
