The Opportunity:
Due to internal movements, a position has been made available within the Financial Reporting team for a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be assisting with the day to day financial and statutory reporting obligations, and help support an accountant and assistant accountant by guiding technically where possible. Further to this, there will be opportunities for you to utilise your experience and contribute towards process improvement.
About You:
You will ideally have a strong Big 4 accounting background, or a Financial Services background, or come from a complex group environment with technical reporting experience. In addition to this you will have:
- A completed CA or CPA (Or ICCA equivalent)
- At least 6 + years financial accounting / management experience
- Strong technical accounting skills including EOFY reporting
- Excellent knowledge of and experience implementing new accounting standards
- The desire to mentor and drive continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills, especially both verbal and written
- The ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
