Randstad have partnered with a global organisation to recruit a Senior Document Controller for an exciting 12 month opportunity based in the CBD. An outline of the role duties to be performed, but not limited to are listed below.

  • Performs document control and management of project information in support of the project team.
  • Responsible for the registration, distribution and disposition of project documentation in accordance with documented policies and procedures.
  • Provide support, guidance and governance to the Document Control Teams.
  • Supports document management systems and related methodologies, strategies and systems for a program of capital projects that allow project organisations to capture, store, retrieve, share, and archive electronic records and documents.
  • Supports the implementation of program information management strategies and systems
  • Monitors the proper usage of the project document, data or model management systems and related procedures.
  • Advance consideration of information management through support, mentoring and training of project teams.
  • Provide backup Systems Administration for the Project Document Management Systems.
  • Explore and offer solutions to Document Control issues and challenges.
  • Assist with problem solving of Document Control issues, and contribute to the process of continuous improvement.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service in regard to Project Information Management, and provide hands on assistance to the project team.

Candidates to be considered for this role will have a minimum of 4 years experience in Technical Document Control, preferably in Engineering/Resources Industry on large scale projects. Skills to be possessed are strong computer literacy, Microsoft Office, Aconex, SmartPlant, Adobe, EDMS. You must also be a team player and have the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
