Senior Data Analyst - Permanent - Sydney/Hybrid - Must be Australian Citizen/Australian Permanent Resident currently.
An opportunity has arisen to join a Big 4 Bank as an experienced Senior Data Analyst. Provide a range of reporting, analytical and data management services for internal customers and external regulators.This permanent role is based in Sydney with hybrid work arrangements.
About the role
- Performing data analysis, data modelling, data profiling of various large data sources in structured and unstructured formats and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Modify and extend the data extract, transform and load system to produce the desired reporting outcome based on stakeholder needs.
- Supporting and enhancing the BAU regulatory reporting processes.
- Visualise data, produce business intelligence assets such as reports and dashboards using BI tools (such as Tableau or PowerBI) to communicate complex ideas and extract relevant insights.
- Modify and extend the data extract, transform and load system to produce the desired reporting outcome based on stakeholder needs.
About you
- Previous experience as a Senior Data Analyst
- Strong command of SQL and experience with data warehouses (Teradata or similar).
- Experience with data visualisation and data storytelling using Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience working in an Agile environment including use of JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket.
