job description

Working with an experienced and diverse team, the senior analyst will be responsible for

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior managers providing risk/profitability related analytics to drive risk management strategies in acquisition and account management.
  • Proactively identify problem areas and opportunities to improve profitability over the entire lifecycle of unsecured products through strategy enhancements and credit tests.
  • Mentor and assist in the development of the analysts’ technical skills analytics
  • Assist in the management of credit scoring models ensuring they support the risk/reward trade off with the emphasis on maximising customer profitability
  • Review, streamline and develop Risk Management Information ensuring reports are delivered error free and within agreed deadlines

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Solid experience in SAS programming/analytics and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 3-5 years+ in a similar role with understanding of statistical based decisioning systems
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in a Statistics / Mathematics or Computing related discipline
  • The ability to bring innovation to problem solving and effective stakeholder management abilities
