About the company for the Senior Contract Administrator role:

You'll be working client side in a well respected division of the government Transport cluster in Mascot. There's access to a shuttle bus from the train station as welll as several other public transport options nearby. There's a coffee shop on the bottom floor and several other cafes close by. The regular shuttle bus also drops you close to the ever growing list of Mascot's food options. The team is a collection of high calibre professionals and you'll enjoy working at a pace not often associated with working client side. This is a project with a lot of political visibility and is critical in ensuring Sydney's infrastructure allows it to function as a world city for years to come.

Responsibilities of the Senior Contract Administrator role:

  • Contract management of professional services providers and major work contracts
  • Manage contract variations (extensions, financial, scope)
  • Review professional service providers and major work contractors monthly reports and deliverables
  • Engage in contract negotiations and dispute resolution where required
  • Provide input to the Service briefs and tender documents for procurement of professional services providers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Provide input into commercial schedules.
  • Support and mentor Contract Administrators.

Key Experience of the Senior Contract Administrator in this role:

  • Relevant experience working as a Senior Contract Administrator on rail projects
  • Ideally have both public and private sector experience
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the rail industry
  • Great communicator with an excelllent track record of delivery
