About your new role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commissioning Officer to join a dynamic Victorian commissioning team. This hands-on position is crucial to the planning, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of power system primary and secondary systems within brownfield and greenfield substation projects on the VESI network.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in complex commissioning roles on both brownfield and greenfield projects.
• An Advanced Diploma in ESI Power Systems or a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience within the Australian transmission & distribution network and significant VESI / ESI commissioning experience.
• Proficiency in Doble secondary injection testing and familiarity with IEC61850 systems.

You will also need to bring

• A decisive approach to identifying critical resources and ensuring safety and efficiency in project execution.
• The ability to mentor and supervise junior team members.
• A willingness to travel and work outside of Melbourne as needed.
