SENIOR CLINICAL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OFFICER

Mental Health professionals experienced in working with system interventions (including Organisational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, OT’s, Mental Health Social Workers and Mental Health Nurses) are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a member of the Clinical Safety & Quality Section, The Clinical Care and Information Officer works to further the goals of providing the highest quality clinical care, client feedback and information management services. Manage the expansion of the organisations Adverse Event Review process

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of clinical quality improvement systems
  • Prepare reports, recommendations and discussion papers
  • Manage project activities that implement strategic direction and quality improvement
    recommendations
  • Provide advice for ongoing development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Maintain clinical and organisational records according to Open Arms’ standards
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to influence continuous improvement of
    service delivery in accordance with Open Arms policy and procedures.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Must be a qualified mental health professional and have current registration with AHPRA or AASW
  • Keen interest and understanding of clinical care, risk and records management, and ethical and legal obligations around privacy
