Senior Change Management Lead

Senior Change Management lead required to manage the delivery for one of two streams of activities within the client’s Project. The change management activities involve operational readiness; managing the organisational implications; and managing technology change readiness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and document change impacts through the Change Impact Assessment (CIA) and Role Impact Assessment (RIA) on changes affecting staff procedures, business processes, operational and organisational change arising from the project.
  • Lead one respective stream of the Change activities with business readiness planning and activities:
  • Coordinating and aligning the contribution of subject matter experts to the overall program change approach
  • Assist with the preparation of the Change Readiness Assessment, ensuring the activities captured from various stakeholders are accepted and change activities re-aligned to ensure readiness is achieved
  • Work with the project team to integrate change management activities into the overall program plan.
  • Escalate change issues and risks requiring management attention and/or support for resolution
  • Support other members of the project team to capture business process requirements and articulate impact as required
  • Engage with all relevant stakeholders and interested parties and effectively involve them in the project
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with stream leads and business stakeholders within the client’s project
  • Contribute to productive working relationships with open communication and sharing of information
  • Work effectively as a team member to enable continuous quality support to be provided
  • Work within regulatory and organisational policies, systems and procedures
  • Work with business representative’s to facilitate agreement and signoff of business processes, and readiness plans.
  • Collaborate across stakeholder groups, and support the requirements management and change management processes.
  • Work in collaboration with contractors and suppliers to ensure the best possible solution is delivered

To succeed in this role you have:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in change management
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, with demonstrated ability to engage and interact professionally with a diverse range of business stakeholders and drive business readiness activities for train delivery and technology solutions.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills are a must, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent analytical skills (listening, questioning, challenging, modelling)
  • Ability to chair and manage meetings and workshops, and excellent inter-personal and communications skills, able to articulate complex issues clearly and effectively, both verbal and written
  • Ability to plan and pursue challenging goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities.
  • Proven experience working independently and/or with multidisciplinary teams including the management and mentoring of other change analysts.
  • Superior stakeholder management skills
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, including a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process, high level of experience in consultation and stakeholder management
