Randstad is currently recruiting 3 Senior Assessment Officers for a reputable CBD based Government Department. This department is currently expanding and would like your assistance! If you have experience in high level decision making, formal assessment, research and report writing we would like to hear from you. Candidates with a legal or insurance background will be highly regarded.

Applicants must have the following:

• Working With Children’s Check (WWCC)
• National Police Clearance within 12 months

• These roles will be commencing immediately for the length of up to 6 months, with high potential for extension.
• Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700 OR 0800 - 1600
• Flexible working arrangements can be negotiated once trained

Your Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have skills & experience in the following areas:

• Making a determination based on reasoning and providing evidence to support outcome
• Undertaking screening assessments
• High level of briefing
• Ability to work in a high volume environment accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work autonomously and also within a team
• High level verbal and report writing skills
