Sitting in Group Finance the Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for reporting to the regulatory bodies – APRA and RBA and ABS.

To get a feel for this role the tasks include the following:

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting covering the Group’s financial, product, credit risk and capital and liquidity positions.
  • Compliance with new regulatory reporting requirements
  • Assist in the interpretation and implementation of new regulatory reporting standards
  • Provision of data required on an ad hoc basis to the Regulators

In order to be successful we are looking for the following skills, education and experience in the applicant:

  • At least 2 or 3 years experience in an external audit environment
  • Formal Accounting training and fully certified or chartered accountant
  • Strong understanding of the Balance sheet and P&L
  • Auditing Regulatory reports for Banking sector is highly desired
  • Genuine and long term interest in Regulatory reporting
  • Must possess good attitude at work, be a self starter and be proactive in engaging with the business
