As an Account Manager in this role you'll be the driving force behind day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth coordination of client projects and campaign deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Client Management
- Maintain and update key client WIPs
- Coordinate with creative and client partners
- Organize and lead client meetings
- Respond to client requests promptly
- Support new business pitches and identify client growth opportunities
- Collaborate with finance for invoicing and billing processes
Media Planning
- Develop media plans for the Australian and New Zealand markets
- Assist with media briefs and collaborate with key partners
- Work with the buying team to ensure key planning metrics are met
- Review and optimize campaign performance, offering media recommendations
- Manage approvals and bookings for media plans
Implementation Management
- Work closely with TV and digital teams to ensure campaigns are booked and executed as planned
- Ensure spotlists are delivered to clients before campaigns launch
- Reconcile campaign budgets and track delivery
- Coordinate with the team on reporting and tracking key campaign deliverables
Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and present comprehensive media review reports post-campaign
- Collaborate with analytics teams to process client data and insights
- Manage additional reporting needs, such as competitive analysis, media updates, and consumer insights
Client & Supplier Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with media networks and suppliers
- Represent the team at key industry events
- Foster positive client relationships
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a media agency or related industry
- Strong understanding of media planning and campaign execution
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with TV buying/ BVOD
- Experience with tools such as Media Ocean, BMD, AQX, and Roy Morgan
- Familiarity with BMD invoicing and account troubleshooting
- Proven experience managing teams or individuals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data effectively
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a proactive, problem-solving approach
