Randstad are currently partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation based in the Inner Western Suburbs of Adelaide who are seeking a Security, Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a full time basis.
Job Title: Security Health and Safety Advisor
Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 per annum + superannuation

Your role will be to provide trusted, consistent and specialist health, safety and security advice across production and logistics business areas including driving risk, personal safety, plant-related and manual handling risks, and psycho-social support.
In this role you will:
- Actively support business leaders in WHS performance, ensuring reporting and insights to enhance overall safety measures
- Advise and coach hazard identification, risk assessments, and the development of elimination or control strategies
- Actively manage self-insurance and review injury claims, providing status updates and estimates in collaboration with our insurer and injury management provider
- Coach and support employees in using WHS management software to report hazards and incidents
- Conduct audits, perform inspections and investigations, and manage corrective action plans.

As a minimum, you will hold a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, with 3 years of experience in an industrial-based business that includes office/administration areas.
Proven experience in safety risk management across production, operations, or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and practices
A natural collaborator, embodying the qualities of a true health and safety business partner.
A team player & relationship builder, it is crucial that you can work effectively within both local and remote teams, and make a positive impact on projects and safety cultures.
High level stakeholder engagement with operators on site.
Experience in actively managing self-insurance and reviewing injury claims
You will be able to work from multiple locations within Adelaide and be able to travel interstate when necessary (travel is infrequent). Whilst expecting your work hours to primarily be during the day, we are looking for someone with the flexibility required to be available evenings and nights to align with business operations and shift patterns.
