job description

To load and operate our Section Warper in order to produce warp beams in compliance with our prescribed quality and productivity standards.

Main Duties:

  • Operating a section warper
  • Loading and unloading creel with cones
  • Monitoring the quality of warping
  • Monitoring the machine operation
  • Operating pallet truck and hand-operated forklift device
  • Ensuring yarn mad boxes of yarn are correct I
  • Operating beam trolley
  • Completing paperwork to record yarns process
  • Cleaning the machine between each batch
  • Being compliant with legislative requirements
  • Pushing and bulling trolleys to bring yarn to operating position
  • Ensuring machine and equipment set
  • Performing duties within dye preparation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience as a Winder, Warper, Spinner, or other similar experience in the Textile Industry.
  • Knowledge of the structure of various natural and man-made fibres and yarns
  • Good verbal and written English language and numeracy skills are essential
