job description

Experienced and passionate teacher wanted who can teach Food and Textile Technology with a main focus on Fashion SAS and Applied and Design.

This is a full-time, fixed term contract to commence April 2019 and conclude December 2019.

About you

The Classroom Teacher needs to display the ability to:

  • Articulate a personal philosophy of learning
  • A broad knowledge of the specific curriculum areas
  • Inspire, influence and motivate
  • Work collaboratively and productively with colleagues
  • Provide challenging, student-centred approaches to learning
  • The ability to teach Junior Food and Textile Technology with the potential to teach Junior Textiles and Design, Senior Design, and Fashion
  • Minimum: Education Diploma or Education Degree in relevant curriculum area
  • Should preferably have experience teaching in Queensland schools or an understanding of the Queensland system
  • Must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers
