About the School:

This College is a very prestigious and reputable private school for boys, located in Brisbane’s CBD. There are over 2000 students from Year 5 to Year 12, educating students in the Edmund Rice Tradition.

The Role:

  • Full time (initial 4 year appointment, with additional 4 years upon satisfactory performance review)
  • Head of Faculty - Mathematics
  • Tier 3 (+ complexity loading)
  • 7 hours release time per week
  • Term 1, 2021 start
  • Encouraged to review and attend professional development opportunities
  • Report to Dean of Teaching & Learning (and responsible to the Principal)
  • Appropriate teaching load as required by the Principal
  • Responsible for collaborating, coordinating, managing, supervising, and other key responsibilities


  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in a similar role (3-5 years’ experience)
  • Ability to meet expectations for administration duties, technical skills, and communication skills
  • QCT registration
  • Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights (no sponsorship available)
  • 2 professional references
  • Ability to support the Christian values of the College
  • Wear photo identification card when on duty
  • Comply with College policies (WHS obligations)
