The Role:

Seeking leaders who can...

  • Ensure appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented
  • Ensure quality of student learning and effectiveness of teacher practice through supervision
  • Utilise current data to inform decisions
  • Develop partnerships with teachers, students, parents and the wider community
  • Administer resources
  • Demonstrate leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership, and strategic leadership.

  • Full time, initial 12 month contract (with possible extension for the right candidate)

  • Competitive Salary starting: $84,706 - $113,299 (pending experience)

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience
  • Be innovative, proactive, and flexible in your approach to student learning
  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, curriculum initiatives
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • QCT registration or ability to obtain prior to commencement
  • Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Ability to relocate to North Queensland (Charters Towers)
  • Promote the College’s ethos
  • Have a current Working with Children Suitability Card - The successful candidate will require a paid Blue Card before commencement as per the No Card, No Start policy developed by the Queensland Government.
