Randstad Digital is currently working with a Queensland Government Department to find a SAP Technical Expert in Master Data Governance (MDG) to join their team for a 9-month contract, with a strong chance of extension past that point. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective design, configuration, and management of SAP S/4HANA solutions, with a primary focus on Master Data Governance and Master Data Management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and test SAP S/4HANA to meet information system standards and documentation requirements.
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of MDG within the S/4HANA environment, including Material Master, Finance Master Data Objects, Customer, and Vendor.
- Support the business in the ongoing enhancement and development of Master Data Governance and Management processes.
- Transfer knowledge to support staff for adopted SAP functionality and operating procedures.
- Liaise with clients to provide problem-solving expertise and analytical support in developing standardised business processes across the organisation.
- Manage the development of solutions for archiving data from S/4HANA to support future business requirements.
Necessary & Desired Skills:
- Proven experience in the configuration and support of large-scale SAP Solutions, particularly S/4HANA and MDG.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in complex, large-scale business implementations.
- Experience with data migration methodologies (e.g., Data Services, LTMC).
- Familiarity with SAP MDG Data Models, UI Modeling, and data quality settings.
- Knowledge of ABAP development for enhancing SAP MDG systems.
- Experience with SAP MDG workflows, data replication techniques, and master data transfer.
- Expertise in Master Data Governance, including Material Master, Finance Master Data Objects, Customer, and Vendor.
- Experience in the configuration, design, build, testing, and deployment of SAP MDG solutions.
