Leading Australian FMCG company requires a Salesforce Developer to join there Sydney CBD based team on a full time basis.

The company is currently implementing Salesforce to help drive there amazing growth. In this role, you are given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of the organisation.

On a daily basis you will:

• Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components.
• Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
• Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of the most common coding vulnerabilities.
• Inform the CIO and Project Manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.
• Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
• Develop common test data.
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
• Document the application to facilitate maintenance.

To succeed in this role you will have:

• At least 2 - 3 years proven Salesforce development experience
• In-depth understanding and experience of Salesforce programming including Apex Classes, Apex WebServices (with REST and SOAP standards), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Lightning, Batch Apex, Apex Schedulers, Custom Settings, Custom Labels, SOQL and Migration Tools
• Designing & constructing APIs, including handling external APIs (RESTful & SOAP) and other types of 3rd party systems integrations
• Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objective
• Experience with Salesforce integration. Integrate Salesforce with other platforms, and develop an understanding of other key applications within the organization
• Develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce platform
• Ideally you will have one or more Salesforce certifications demonstrating current knowledge as a developer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be dealing with senior stakeholders
