About the company

My client is a super successful and health focused start up. This company is now well established and has a strong shelf and social media presence across AU, CA,UK,USA.

About the role

This highly visible and key role is to ensure a smooth end to end sales and operations process between my client, distribution partners, and customers. This role will be a key player in building and managing internal / external partnerships to ensure delivery of business plan objectives. This role is also responsible for:

  • Ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand from baseline and promotional needs, display and other sales driving activities;
  • Validate and manage orders against the sales/demand plan to meet revenue and stock on hand targets;
  • Participate in the Collaboration & Alignment of Businesses shared plans;
  • Review forecasts & place orders including NPD;
  • Daily reporting to client on stock issues and resolutions. Daily reporting to internal account management and supply chain teams;
  • Monitoring forecasts and proactively chasing opportunities identified.

About you

Together with demonstrated success in a similar role, you will:

  • Degree educated with at least 3 years Sales or Supply FMCG experience preferably with experience in a customer facing role
  • Ability to demonstrate quick, flexible and creative thinking, with pragmatic commercial problem solving skills in the face of uncertainty
  • Prior experience within a sales, supply chain, customer service or planning related discipline in the retail grocery channel and FMCG environment (highly regarded);
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Confident at challenging the status quo and both influencing and challenging decisions
  • A self-starter, capable of working relatively autonomously, who uses his/her initiative and can work independently with little supervision.
