In this Brisbane based role you, as Sales Manager, will report directly to the National Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a team of industrial instrumentation and process control Sales Engineers and sales support staff
  • Managing an existing external customer network
  • Building relationships with key customer contacts
  • Managing the reporting system including task allocation and sale qualification
  • Creating and developing sales strategies
  • Monitoring agreed sales activities

Our client is a market leader within industrial instrumentation and process control offering a range of products and services to customers ranging from medium enterprises to multinationals. They manufacture instruments typically measuring flow, pressure, temperature and density. They have an impressive and long heritage in Australia. They are a dynamic and proactive company with facilities and offices in every capital city and they are present in regional centres across the country. They have had impressive and sustained growth in recent years. It is due to this growth they are looking to add an experienced Sales Manager to lead their Brisbane based Sales team.


The Role

In this Brisbane based role you, as Sales Manager, will report directly to the National Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a team of industrial instrumentation and process control Sales Engineers and sales support staff
  • Managing an existing external customer network
  • Building relationships with key customer contacts
  • Managing the reporting system including task allocation and sale qualification
  • Creating and developing sales strategies
  • Implementing and monitoring agreed sales and completion activities
  • Engaging and working with key internal stakeholders during all phases of customer engagement

Your Profile

You will have demonstrated technical experience in instrumentation and process control within a customer centric environment. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in establishing and growing relationships. You will have experience in managing and providing effective leadership to teams of sales engineers and sales administration professionals.
