The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager is to increase the volume and profitability of business for two main products. Business will be derived from the introduction of new customers as well as their existing customer base through both replacement and incremental business.

The role in a nutshell:

- New Business Development (60%): Achievement of the new business targets through the active targeting and securing of prospect customers.

- Customer Development & Retention (30%): Build valuable relationships with customers, at two or more levels by demonstrating the company's value proposition

- Administration (10%): Report on a monthly basis on all aspects of managing and developing the customer portfolio (Format of report to be agreed with Manager)

To be successful, you will need:

- At least 5 years experience in Sales/New Business Development, ideally in the automotive OR financial products.

- Ability to negotiate at senior management level

- Ability to work with limited supervision/direction
