In this Brisbane based role, you will report to the General Manager of Sales. You will be responsible for maintaining key accounts and acquiring new business in sales of automotive wheel products to distributors/retailers. Fleet owners will also be your team’s customers. While the main aim will be to keep and farm major accounts, there will be a requirement to seek and acquire new sales. You will be regularly provided with up to date sales and marketing materials in hard and soft copy.

Our client is an Australian business which provides wholesale automotive wheel products to national retailers and fleet customers. They are a successful exponent in providing manufacturing and distribution solutions in passenger vehicle and 4WD wheels. Their products have long been highly regarded within industry. Their commitment to their product quality has resulted in consistent sales in fiercely competitive sectors. They have a network of branches across Australia and are looking to add an experienced Sales Manager to lead their team in Queensland.

The Role

In this Brisbane based role, you will report to the General Manager of Sales. You will be responsible for maintaining key accounts and acquiring new business in sales of automotive wheel products to distributors/retailers. Fleet owners will also be your team’s customers. While the main aim will be to keep and farm major accounts, there will be a requirement to seek and acquire new sales. You will be regularly provided with up to date sales and marketing materials in hard and soft copy. In this leadership role, you will engage in key external stakeholder engagement.

Your Profile

You will have demonstrated account management and business development experience. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in developing key relationships. You will have led teams and have experience in providing solutions that are relevant to customer requirements.

Experience in a state based sales environment, while not essential, will be highly regarded. Experience in automotive products (sales, service or both) will also be highly regarded.

In return, you will be paid a competitive base salary and Superannuation. You will also be bonused via a realistic, achievable and deliverable bonus structure.
