Our client is an ethical manufacturer of homecare, skincare, and hair care. They specialize in producing high quality salon use products for leading retailers as well as local and international brands.

This high profile market leader within the FMCG space is seeking a dynamic Account Executive for a WEST territory to join their team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be given the responsibility to manage and grow existing accounts as well as develop new accounts and channels.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Conducting regularly scheduled “face-to-face” salon visits
  • Merchandising, managing and assessing inventory of Salon retail product at each salon
  • Scheduling and conducting in-salon presentations (selling, key promotions and product knowledge) on all Salon retail products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts
  • Drive new business opportunities
  • Execute all brand and promotional strategies
  • Achieve budget
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will ideal have:

  • Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office etc.
  • Previous hair/beauty/fmcg industry experience
  • Presentation skills to both small and larger audiences
  • Ability to prioritise and organise duties, tasks, multiple demands and manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional business relationships
  • Extensive travel is required to facilitate customer visits, company events, training and department meetings
  • Professional negotiation and communications skills
  • Previous experience with Salesforce, Port-a-Tour or similar preferred but not essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business / management/marketing would be advantageous but not essential
  • Drivers license
