Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government and utility sectors through research, networking, and outreach.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth. Customize presentations and proposals to address the specific needs of each client.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Understand their challenges and requirements, and articulate how our solutions can address these needs.
Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our geospatial data analyzing software, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals effectively. Work with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis: Track sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in software solutions, preferably with a focus on geospatial data or similar technology. Experience selling to Transport, Government and Utility sectors is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to build relationships and close complex deals.
Knowledge: Familiarity with geospatial data analyzing software and its applications in government and utility sectors. Understanding of procurement processes and compliance requirements in these industries.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
