In this Brisbane based role you, as Sales Engineer, will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Building a book of business from a blend of existing and new customers in a defined territory in South East Queensland
  • Implementing sales strategies, based on customer needs
  • Being the initial contact regarding customer technical queries
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

Our client is a global and local market leader within continuous production and assembly products. They offer a range of systems and solutions to customers ranging from OEMs to end users. They also sell to distributors. They manufacture and install systems and interchangeable components. They are committed to developing new technologies, techniques and processes and they are at the forefront of these continuous improvement efforts. Their name is synonymous with quality and they have invested heavily in facilities and offices across the country. They have had impressive and sustained growth and it is due to this growth they are looking to add an experienced Sales Engineer to join their Brisbane based Sales team.


The Role

In this Brisbane based role you, as Sales Engineer, will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Building a book of business from a blend of existing and new customers in a defined territory in South East Queensland
  • Implementing sales strategies, based on customer needs
  • Being the initial contact regarding customer technical queries
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the CRM reporting system

Your Profile

Ideally, you will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or have equivalent Trade qualification. You will have demonstrated technical experience in assembly products in an industrial setting. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in establishing and growing relationships. You will be results driven and used to creating and implementing sales plans to reach sales targets. You will be used to working autonomously and light touch management.
