About this Opportunity
AVK is a worldwide leading international water industry manufacturer. The Australian head office is based in Adelaide and there is now an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales/Customer Service Coordinator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. This role would suit someone with previous customer service experience within a civil/industrial environment. You will be working closely with a dynamic and supportive team who are focused on delivering excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager your responsibilities will be:
- General sales enquiries and quotations, as well as providing technical information to customers
- Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide internal sales support to sales representatives
- Provide supportive after sales service to customers
- Manage the end-to-end processing of incoming orders through to operations
About You
We are looking for a confident candidate who can work without supervision. To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:

- A background and knowledge of civil, trade or industrial environments is preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role with a focus on a technical product category
- An excellent customer service focus and an ability to manage multiple enquiries in a timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be highly regarded
