Suitable candidates for this role will need to possess the following skills and experience.
... - Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of AS4801, AS9000, and ISO14001
- Fundamental Knowledge WHS acts and Electrical Safety acts
- Statistical analysis and reporting skills
- Previous experience in SHEQ or HR Management
- Working to deadlines
- High level of confidentiality maintained
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide specialist guidance to the Contract Managers, and the Supervisory group to assist them in their roles to achieve the best possible SHEQ outcomes
- This role requires 24/7 availability in case of serious or notable incidents occurring during operations
- Maintain the SHEQ System for certification compliance
- Auditing
- Assist with the development and implementation of safe work procedures and risk assessment processes
- Liaise with Regulatory Authorities
- Facilitate Risk Management and HSE training in conjunction with People Training and Development Officers
- Review training to meet legislative requirements
- Develop and maintain On-line Management Systems
- Liaise and cooperate with Management and Clients
- Collate, maintain and monitor Quality Assurance Documentation
Requirements:
- Health and Safety or Risk Management or equivalent certification
- SHEQ Auditors course (desirable)
